Write to hello@hearvoices.app — a person reads it, usually within two working days.

Please include your device model, iOS version and the app version (Settings → About, at the bottom). For anything to do with scoring, saying which piece and which voice helps enormously.

The app cannot hear me

It hears me, but the notes are wrong

Playing instead of singing

Both routes are supported and neither needs a special mode.

With MIDI nothing is estimated — the note numbers are exact, the microphone is never opened, and scoring is as clean as your playing was. If a device shows as connected but no notes arrive, it is usually sending on a channel the instrument itself has muted, or it is in local-off mode.

It says I drifted, and I disagree

That warning appears when your sung line matches a different voice better than the one you were asked for. It is usually right, and usually unwelcome. The overlay under the score shows what you sang against what you were given — if those two do not match what your ears remember, send us the piece and voice and we will look at it.

Teaching with Voces

Classes, choirs and studios: twenty seats or more come at half price, via Apple School Manager or Volume Purchase. Write to hello@hearvoices.app with roughly how many people and what you teach — it also helps us decide what to build next.

Requests and repertoire

Suggestions for pieces are genuinely welcome, with one constraint: a paid app can only bundle scores whose digital editions are free of commercial restrictions. That rules out a good deal of otherwise public-domain music. If you know of a cleanly licensed edition of something we should have, that is one of the most useful emails you could send us.

Deleting your data

Everything Voces knows about you is on your device. Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no account, and nothing on any server of ours — see the privacy policy.
